VIA| Our Constitution has an amendment process for a reason – just as it’s extremely difficult to get an amendment passed for a reason. It’s a tough process, with the amendment needing to be proposed either by the Congress with a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or by a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of the state legislatures (which has not yet been responsible for any amendments). After that, at least 38 states must agree to ratify the amendment.
As we reported here, the Democrat Party has largely been decimated by the Obama legacy. The chart below shows that forcing people to live under liberal policies may be the best way to turn them against liberalism.
Republicans now control the presidency, a majority in the House and Senate, and hold the majority of governorships, and positions in state legislatures.
As if that wasn’t bad enough for the Left – allowing Republicans to essentially command control over the federal government when it comes to public policy and choosing the next Supreme Court justice, and that’s not even all. When it comes to the majority party in state legislatures, Republicans are only onesState away from having the majority needed to get a constitutional amendment ratified by the states.
